Ukrainian Twinning E-Community
14.07.2009

The concept of a Ukrainian Twinning E-Community is the result of fruitful work during two Workshops in June and the Twinning Networking day on 9 July 2009.

Representatives from 12 Beneficiary Administrations have discussed options on the best way forwards for most effective web site usage.

During the two Workshops, Recommendations on Improving Twinning related Information and Communication Activities were drafted. These were agreed at the Networking Event when some 70 Ukrainian Beneficiary Administrations endorsed them. That acceptance is the background for creation of the Ukrainian Twinning E-community (UTeC).

The outcome is an electronic agreement which would enhance the exchange of links (and, in the future, of information/communications and technical add-ons) among the participants of the Twinning projects.

UTeC can improve public awareness about Twinning in Ukraine and about specific projects. It will also enhance cooperation among 'Ukrainian Twinners'.

Already, the Ukrainian Twinning E-Community exists in the process of links exchange among those project participants who have their own web sites or web pages dedicated to Twinning.

All participants of the Ukrainian Twinning E-Community add the 'Twinning Programme' banner to their sites, reflecting their collaboration.

Would you like to join in UTeC? You are cordially invited to become a member!

Open up your Twinning Project to thousands of new visitors!
